NEW OBAMA AD: We Are Better Off Than We Were Four Years Ago, But the Real Question Is, Whose Plan Is Better for the American People?

We are better off than we were for years ago. We’re not there yet, so we need to be asking whose plan is better for the American people – President Obama’s plan to keep us moving forward, or Romney’s plan to take us back to the top-down policies that got us into this mess?

·         We are better off today than we were four years ago. After President Obama took office amid the worst economic crisis since the Great Depression, businesses have created 4.6 million new jobs in 30 straight months of private-sector job growth.

·         We’re not there yet, so we need to ask whose plan is better for the American people. That’s why the choice in this election is so important – we can either keep moving forward or go back to the same failed policies that got us into this mess.

·         President Obama has a plan for an economy built to last grounded in a strong middle class. It asks millionaires to pay their fair share so we can invest in a strong middle class, clean energy and cut the deficit.

·         Mitt Romney’s plan would take us back to the same top-down economic policies of the last decade that crashed our economy and crushed the middle class. Romney would:

o   Give multi-millionaires and billionaires a new $250,000 tax break.

o   Raise taxes on middle-class families with kids by $2,000.

o   Let Wall Street write its own rules again, rolling back regulations on the big banks that cratered our economy and ending protections for families and consumers.
