Good news for American women -

For decades, insurance companies refused to cover the services women needed, restricting which kinds of birth control they can afford, refusing to cover contraception altogether and charging women unfair premiums because of their gender.   This has all changed because of the new healthcare law.

President Obama has made great strides in women’s health. He’s stopping insurance companies from discriminating based on gender, making sure women can get mammograms and other preventive services at no cost, and is standing strong against Republican efforts to roll back women’s rights and access to the health care they need.

We all know that under a republican administration women would suffer greatly – Newt, Mitt,  & Rick all want to overturn Roe v. Wade and are in support of amendments which would also ban birth control.
